REGULATIONS

Both Taxi Cab drivers and Companies adhere to Alexandria City’s Rules and Regulations. These Ordinances are updtaed on an as needed basis and are designed to protect the public.

OVERSIGHT

Alexandria City Drivers are independent contractors, however, they must be affiliated with a Taxi Cab Company before they are permitted to operate in the city. Cab companies provide an additional layer of oversight which all drivers adhere to.

Alexandria VIP Cab Company is the only woman-owned taxi cab service in Alexandria, Virginia.

Established in 1984, Alexandria VIP strives to deliver prompt, courteous service to all Alexandria City residents, businesses, and our traveling guests.

Our large fleet of taxi cabs are clean, late model vehicles, many of which rival limousine class sedans. Our associate cab drivers are some of the most seasoned professionals in the Taxi Cab industry and provide the highest level of service available anywhere in the country.

We accept advance reservations and our Airport Service is second to none. Our taxi cabs are available for service to all major airports, including Reagan National Airport, Dulles Airport, and BWI – Baltimore Washington International. We also provide Stand service at Reagan National Airport.
